You know, I figured the day I got a machete it would be for some cool reason.
Zombie apocalypse maybe.
Or possibly I was some how traveled back in time and got stuck in some jungle of Vietnam.
But no, I needed one for yard work.
I suppose at least now I’ll be ready if the zombies ever come or I’m randomly time traveled.
I got my friend’s daughter some Legos for her birthday and it came with a little freebe.
So I gave it to Porter to put together.
He was a little rusty but he got it together.
Top is before.
Bottom is after.
I’ve been wanting to clean the girlfriend’s garage for awhile now, and since her roommate just moved out it was as good a time as any to do it.
Minus the 100 degree temperature.
That pile of shit in the middle is stuff I need the boss to go through and tell me what to keep and what to pitch. (Not everyone likes to throw shit out as much as me)
There’s a few boxes off to the left that are someone else’s that are left over from a garage sell. Hopefully they pick them up soon.
And there’s some tools that were borrowed from the neighbor that I need to return.
Than I’ll go get my benches and get some shelving and have a pretty nice shop set up once it’s all said and done.
And then I can start all kinds of projects!
I think it’s time for more shelves for my comic book collection.
That way I can organize them better than Deadpool, Batman, The Walking Dead, and Other.
Cause the Other pile is getting a little out of hand.
I’m just not sure where I’m gonna put another shelf………..
The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed…….
I’m delving into The Dark Tower series. I’m not sure I can read that much King, so I’ll listen to it.
I have one Gunslinger prequel graphic novel. I think after I’m done with the books I’ll read through all of those.
I discovered that in 2012 King wrote an eighth book of Roland Deschain and his journey towards The Dark Tower called The Wind Through the Keyhole. Which I’m sure I’ll read presently.
The railroad makes you use a time piece that isn’t you’re phone, and I like that.
I used to wear a watch all the time until it started getting in my way.
I’ve misplaced the watch I have been using so I might try and put a battery in one of my old ones.
